How to Get Virtual Care

Adult residents (ages 18+) of Western North Carolina can see a UNC Health primary care provider for mild symptoms without an appointment through UNC Health Virtual Care Now free of charge for those impacted by Hurricane Helene. Using your camera- and microphone-enabled phone, tablet or computer, you can access convenient, secure and flexible care when you need it. Patients can get in line for Virtual Care Now through My UNC Chart. If you do not have a My UNC Chart account, you can easily get one when you get in line. Virtual services are available 6 AM – 10 PM, 7 days per week.

Amanda Pritchett, NP-C, has joined the staff at Blue Ridge Cardiology. She graduated from the University of Southern Indiana NP Program in Evansville, IN, and completed her internship at Novant Health. She previously worked at CaroMont Heart and Vascular and Novant Health Heart and Vascular.

She is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses. Her clinical interests include ischemic heart disease, acute myocardial infarction, cardiomyopathy, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and peripheral vascular disease.

When she’s not working, Amanda enjoys reading, writing creative nonfiction, and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Travis, have two children.
