Gastroenterology Fellowship Application Process

• Graduates of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine
• Current medical license or eligible for a medical license from the North Carolina Medical Board

Applicants are selected for interviews based on evidence of their commitment to a career caring for patients, history of strong academic achievement, maturity, professionalism, and sound clinical skills. Please note that the program does not sponsor visas.

• Three letters of recommendation from physicians who have supervised you in a clinical setting, one of which must be from your program director
• Curriculum Vitae
• USMLE / NBOME scores
