UNC Health Blue Ridge Advanced Clinical Fellowship Program
The Fellowship will allow both Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) to develop the skills and knowledge base to be a proficient provider (APP) in their specialty of interest. It will aid in developing competencies to prepare the APP for critical thinking beyond the level received in their formal education.
The goal of UNC Health Blue Ridge's Advanced Clinical Fellowship Program is to provide Advanced Practice Providers (APP) exposure to a wide array of complex disease processes and injuries to prepare the APP with the skills necessary to be successful in delivering excellent patient care.
In addition to the extensive patient contact hours within the selected Fellowship track, the Fellow will gain experiences through various specialty rotations, case study write-ups and oral presentations, team-based learning, and quality improvement collaboration projects.
